Can I limit a list of fields in a membership list

Am I able to easily publish a list of members with just their names and membership plan they belong to?

Yes. You can :

1. When you create a menu item to display members list, there are options to allow choosing what information you want to display

2. For the custom fields you want to display (first_name, last_name...), go to Membership Pro -> Custom Fields, click on the field to edit, set Show On Members List parameter to Yes/No to show/ hide it

Thanks Tuan but I also have members lists where I need to show many of the fields that I need to exclde from a general list , how can I exclude custom fields from one list but not another?

Unfortunately, we don't have a setting for custom fields per menu item as you requested

Maybe you will have in the future, I may have to find someone to write the php I have a SQL that shows what I want but I do not have the pHP skills to present it on a page

You might want to hire us to do it for you if it is really needed. If I understand your requirement correctly, this modification will only cost you 40$. You will then choose to show what fields for each menu item. That should solve your issue / concern
