Lost Subscriptions

Anyone have subscriptions lost?
On March 7th it seems all the subcription (registrations) for our students seem to have been lost on the website. I was only alerted to this because one of the students brought this to our attention. PayPal confirmed that they made a payment, but the Membership Pro subscriptions and the back-end user account showed no activity/change. We had 2 students (the only 2 for that day) that this happened to.
No updates we made that day by myself, and no manual backup for that day (akeeba). The server host, however, does an automatic daily back up.
Any ideas where to start looking at this problem?
So far, during the registration period (8-days) no other subscriptions got "dropped".

It might be a problem with PayPal, that's why we released version 2.8.1 to address it, see www.joomdonation.com/forum/membership-pr...l?limitstart=0#95546
For now, please update your site to version 2.8.1 of Membership Pro and continue monitoring it

Thank you Tuan!! I noticed once before, and I thought it was because I was doing an upgrade at the time. This time it looks like other users may have been experiencing it also. I'll keep an eye out for next month when we take in new students.
