PPV Audio and Live Video Content

Im looking for a payment wall to secure my live streaming.

I understand your module and would just like to make sure i can securely lock my streams to prevent unauthorized and non payment use particularly via iphones. I have a licenced JW player installed on my site already

Can you please confirm your module will be able to do this successfully.

Also i have my own template built and will your module work with any template.

My extension can only restrict access to a resource (article, menu item....) managed by Joomla. In your case, the video is playing by JW player, so to be honest, I am not sure if it could be protected. For example, if someone knows the link to the player which playing video (kind of static link), I am afraid of Membership Pro could not protect it

If the stream was locked to only play from page thats behind your your membership do you think that could work.

Do you have sample link to the page which your video is being played so that I can take a look at it and give you the answer?

Your video is actual available in youtube , so if someone has access to the page, he can view source of the page, share the link he get to other people

Then other people can view this video (from youtube) without having to access to your site. For that, we have no way to protect it

its only a test stream using a you tube file. In a live environment the only place the stream would be available is via a page restricted by registration

I don't know how you would setup the video on live envirenment, so I am not sure. if youtube has a way to protect your video from being viewed by public users (but JW player can still play it on your site), then Membership Pro would be perfect solution for this requirement

And Yes, it can work with any template

The live stream link comes off my other Streaming Server. ie streamingaustralia.com.au:8081/live/ssa

This link would replace the current TEST youtube link in a live environment.

I can URL lock the LIVE link from my Streaming Server to only place via a pages on my site so no chance of link stealing.

Then everything is good. You can go ahead to purchase Membership Pro and start setting up it
