Limiting the number of file downloads per user

How do you establish a maximum number of allowable downloads per user; or, limit the number of downloads per day/week/month via Edocman? This capability is necessary for my file repository requirements. If this capability does not exist will you be adding this feature in the immediate future? Can it be added via customization request? Or, is there a third-party plugin/module that can be used in conjunction with Edocman that will provide this capability? Thanks.

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported in our EDocman extension, we have no plans to add support for it in near future, too

At the moment, we are too busy and could not take this custom development. So please try to find a different extension to use or in case you still want to use EDocman, please help finding a developer to customize the extension to support this feature for you
