Cannot redeclare EventbookingBuildRoute()

Updated to Joomla v3.6.4 and started getting "Cannot redeclare EventbookingBuildRoute()" errors.
I figured out on this forum that my EB version 2.2.1 was really old. I have since purchased the new version and downloaded it.

I have installed the new package. I get no error upon installation but when I get redirected to the dashboard the EB version still says 2.2.1.
What am I doing wrong? Is my old version to far removed for a smooth upgrade to the latest version?
How can I install the latest version successfully.

That's strange. The latest version is 2.11.2, not 2.2.1. Maybe you installed wrong package. Please submit a support ticket so that we can help installing it for you

You are indeed, correct. I did not realize I was unzipping the new package into a location where I had the old package and when it came time to install I kept on choosing the old version.

Please disregard or delete this topic. Once I figured out my error I was able to successfully install the latest version and eliminate my errors.
