I am currently trying to set up events in Event Booking component for a website where the latest version of the component (2.8.1) is installed. Every event I try to setup displays the message "We are no longer accepting registration for this event" even though the date set for closed registration is long past the date of the display.
Is there something that needs to be 'turned on' to allow for registration of events?

Hi
The latest version is 2.10.3, so you are not using latest version
Also, please edit the event, make sure you set Registration Access of the event to Public instead of Registered
If it still doesn't work after upgrading to latest version and change the setting I mentioned, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can check it for you

I have updated the component. I have made sure that the correct permissions are set. I still get the same message.
My test site is revemike.com/aca/events/calendar/general/67-test-event

Hi
One more thing, please check html folder of your site template to see whether there is a folder called com_eventbooking. If there is , try to rename that folder to see whether the issue sorted
I am thinking that you might have template override base on code of old version of the extension and that's the reason causing the issue
If it still doesn't work, access to joomdonation.com/support-tickets.html sending us super admin account of your site so that we can check it for you
