cancel recurring subscription on upgrade

Great plugin.
Is there a way to run the "Cancel Subscription" routine that is available in the users profile when they successfully upgrade their membership?
We have different levels. I have seen different posts that state you don't cancel recurring subscriptions after a subscription is upgraded.. but, the customer can from their profile...

That depends on the payment method you are using. Technical, if you use one of the payment plugins below, it should be possible:

1. PayPal Pro

2. Authorize.net

3. Stripe

However, as this is not supported by all payment gateways, I haven't implemented cancelling subscription on upgrade yet, therefore, it is still not possible to upgrade from one recurring subscription plan to another recurring subscription

Might be something we can add support for in the future, but it will take time to implement, from 6 to 8 weeks as right now, I have other more important features I want to focus working on first
