Multiple Component Integration

We are looking at Events and Membership and wanted to know the integration of the two. It already looks like Mailer Pro will allow for emails based on those two components?

1. We need to provide an event and if they are a member charge them less. Is this possible?
2. Memberships are both individual and corporate, so a members need to be tied to the corporate membership, and we also need to be able to have an event where the corporate has a number of seats available, select the members to fill those seats up to the limit of their corporate membership entitlement.
3. We need to provide an election once a year, so we can provide an election module that is only accessible once the membership is verified through login?

#1 => Yes, it is possible

#2=> Unfortunately, #2 is not supported

#3=> I am not sure what module you will be using for election? I believe you can use Joomla core ACL to handle this restriction. Basically, you can config Membership Pro so that when subscribers subscribe for your plans, they will be assigned to certain Joomla user groups you want. Then only give users from these Joomla groups to access to that election module

Regarding #2: There is group registration available. If I have a member who logs in, we can discount registration, and even make it free. Could it not have a category on the membership for discount that would allow group registration of additional members for free? There would not be any way natively to control the number of registrations that user is entitled to, but wouldn't that potentially work as a temporary solution?

Although that is a potential temporary workaround, I have included a flow chart with what our eventuakl end-state needs to be.
