multiple currencies?

is it possible to use the Payment Form extension with Evalon/Converge/MyVirtualMerchant and have a choice of US$ or CDN$ as the payment method?

I am ready to buy, but need this to be available as we have customers in America and Canada and need to be able to offer them a way to pay in their own currencies.

Unfortunately, our Payment Form extension doesn't support multiple currencies, so if you want to support multiple currencies, customization to the code will be needed

Basically, I think you can create two forms in this case, one for US and on for CDN currency and then people can pay using the form related to the currency you want

This customization will cost you extra 40$ if you decide to use our extension

for the $40, could the user’s country as entered determine whether they pay in US$ or Canadian$?

So, if they enter Canada, the amount becomes Canadian $ and a message indicates that payment is in CDN$.
If they enter USA or any other country as their country, the amount is changed to US$ and a message indicates that payment is in US$.

This would also be sent to Evalon/Converge/MyVirtualMerchant so they know?

Yes. That should be do-able. However, in your case, users will just enter the payment amount they want to pay?

I was going to use a form that we fill in and then have the values passed to a link that we send to the customers with certain things pre-filled, such as:

joomdonationdemo.com/paymentform/index.p...&email=guy@askguy.ca

although Country doesn't pick up from the link above, presumably because it's a dropdown - is there a different string I need for that to work?

Honestly, the version on the demo server is outdated and it doesn't allow pre-fill data of the form base on the data from GET request like you do

However, the latest version does support that option

thanks - the script on your demo works perfectly with the answers in the URL string, except for th country, and I'm assuming that's because it's a dropdown menu with a pre-selected location.

If I buy this today, can /i get the customization done soon? How do I pay the extra for the customization?

Will you need access to our joomla install or will you do the customization and send us an amended component installer?

Better we should have access to your Joomla site so that we can setup the modified version to the site, then we will test it together to make sure that it is working as expected

Then once you confirmed it works well, I will then you the installable package
