Optional Amount or fractional quantity

Is it possible to create a product where:

1) The item price can be filled in by the buyer (similar to JoomDonation) ---OR---
2) Allow for fractional quantity. (eg. Quantity 1.5)

Both would allow me to use Eshop to sell services based on time for example Quantity of 1.5 (hours)

1. Yes of course. EShop support the search modules to search product by price.

2. Sorry, we don't support the fractional quantity. But if you want to have it, I will consider to modify EShop for you to accept it.

Actually for #1 I was looking to see if a product could be set up where the buyer enters the price, but my preference would be #2 (fractional quantity). Fractional quantities would allow be to offer service based on time with the benefit of a shopping cart environment.

For #1: With default advanced search module, customer can enter price to search. You can check it here: joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/shopping-cart.html

For #2: As I said, if you really need fractional quantities, then I will consider to modify EShop. You can submit new ticket to EShop category so we can discuss more about it as a custom work.
