Membership Pro subscription cancellation was created by I Design
I'm interested in buying Membership Pro, but I have a question. When a user cancels a recurring monthly membership in MP, do they get reimbursed for the remainder of the month? Same thing for annual memberships. If someone pays for an annual membership, then cancels after 6 months, do they get reimbursed for the final 6 months? If I purchase MP, I will be using Stripe as a payment processor.

Hi
I am sorry for lately response. We had a short holiday and just come back to work this morning
Back to your question, seems you want that when subscribers cancel their existing subscription, they will get some money back (base on their remaining active subscription duration)? If so, that's not supported
Membership Pro will keep the remaining subscription duration active, that mean subscribers will still be active subscribers in the system and can continue accessing to restricted resources (if you setup) until the end of the current subscription. Then at the end, subscription won't be renewed anymore and the subscription will be expired
That's how it works. Hope the answer is clear to you

Thank you Tuan. I have one more question. Since I will be using Stripe as the payment gateway, I will set up some recurring plans. Is there a way to configure MP to send out a reminder email when a user's plan is approaching the automatic renewal date?

Hi
That's the auto reminder feature and supported in Membership Pro out of the box. For each plan, you can setup 3 different reminder emails which will be sent before/after subscription expired certain number of days you want
Regards,
Tuan
