Export extra fields to Excel file was created by Patrick
Hello
EB allows to add some extra fields in a XML file (fields.xml). But unfortunately this data does not go into the export file.
For example: I have set up there
feature1
feature2
feature3
of type "list". This allows me to ad one or more of the features to each event. Works perfect.
But this information does not go into the XLS file if I export the registrants.
Any solution?
Thank you very much.
Regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick
For now, the only way is customizing the code. I will try to see whether I can implement it into core download package next week. For now, we are having holiday, so I could not look at it right away

BTW, in the future, please do not post these types of questions on Pre-sales question forum. Please post it to Events Booking forum category, this is of course not a Pre-sales questions

Strange, I was sure I was in the "Features Wish List" forum when I hit the new topic button...
But maybe I went somehow wrong.
Sorry for this!
Please feel free to move the topic.

Hi Patrick
I decided not implementing this feature into 2.10.1. The reason is because the Excel file not only be used for viewing data but also for editing and importing back to the system if needed
We can add code to export the custom fields data, however, importing the change back (custom fields data) is quite difficult and I don't have time to implement it for now
So if you just need export, you can submit a support ticket and our support staff will help implement it for now
I will try to add support for both exporting and importing in the future, but it will take time, maybe few weeks
