Event in multiple dates

Hi,

I have 2 questions
1. Can I have an event repeated in many dates and when the user books the event to choose one of those dates in the calendar ?
e.g.
I have an event that is taking place on :
June : 8, 11, 19, 25
Jul : 3, 12, 25, 58
Aug: 7, 25

And when the user wants to book that event to choose one of the available dates above.

2. Can I have multiple names and fields for the booking ?
For the above event I need the user to be able to add a group of people and group of fields that are added dynamically.
I need the option to choose number of Adults with fields name / email / phone / nationality for each adult
and number of children the same for each child which has different price.

Look at Group Registration.
Look at Custom Fields to capture the fields and a type (adult / child) and use the adult / child status to adjust the price.

It;s a little more complicates.
The event may occur up to 200 times / year
When browsing the event I need the user to see only the current event available dates and choose the the date he desires to book.

So Saving a single event 200 times is a little "trouble"

To get the Idea the event are actually cruise.
So when the user is reading information about the cruise must be able using a module or something to book this cruise choosing one of the dates this cruise is available.
I don't wan to be able to see in calendar dates from other cruises.

Mmmm. So perhaps Event Booking is the wrong tool? Look at OS Services Booking? I've not used it but it might be a better solution?

=> Actually, it could be setup using "Eventbooking - Additional Dates". This plugin was introduced in version 2.6.0. Basically, it allow you to create one event, then add any dates you want to that event.

Then in version 2.7.0, we added one config option to allow displaying all these dates under event details and then users can choose to register for the date they want like in this screenshot drive.google.com/file/d/0B2RoJ_24efMQNl9qek0xb3dwd2c/view

I saw the demo of EventBooking extension.
So, i think that is what i need, i just to be 100% be sure before i buy it.

1. I see in the demo the multiple dates as a table :

Is possible instead of a table to have a calendar with the current event available dates ?

2. I see the group registration is supported fine
Can I have custom fields in the member information (like checkbox for adult / children etc.) ?

#1 => Unfortunately, it is not possible. We can only display events in tables at the moment, not possible to display it in calendar. Maybe something in the future, but for now, we don't have a plan for it yet

#2=> Yes, custom fields is one of powerful feature in the extension. You can create custom fields for collecting members information. For more details, please read documentation at eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-setup/custom-fields/

I see a calendar in there, but is missing the group registration ?

OS Services Booking is a different kind of extension, it doesn't support group registration (and the way it handles registration is much different from Events Booking)
