Can MembershipPro do this was created by anil
Hello,

Please advise if membershippro can do this if so how.
  1. We have subscription plans for different usergroups. Like students, teachers and parents. In that we have free/basic/premium subscriptions. Can we have structure like this.
  2. Once subscription is purchased, top up mini subscriptions will be available per module. Like Parents subscribe to basic package for 100$. I understand they can upgrade package to Premium for a price, but also we need options to buy access to individual modules. Like add another child in their package for extra 30$ within basic membership. Is this doable if so how.

  3. Note: We already have 3 usergroups setup students, teacher and parents. And have custom registrations for these 3 usergroup.

1. Yes. You could have a Plan called Student that adds them to the Joomla User Group called Student (enable the Joomla Group/User Plugin). Another that does Teachers etc. All with different prices.

2. You can modify prices based on fields they select. Its described in the Documentation - look at Custom Fields. We have a sailing club that has a membership fee and then a charge per boat park space that adds £10 to the fee. Its simply a drop down custom field with the numbers 0 to 10 in the drop down. If they pick 3 its multiplied by 10 and added to the membership fee. We can display that field only on Sailing Members not Social Members.

When you say they need to be able to upgrade to Premium - I'm a bit confused because you haven't mentioned Premium before but yes - they can upgrade and you can control upgrade options and even offer different upgrade prices based on which initial plan they selected.

Buying modules --> May need some more description of what you are thinking. But if you had a Joomla Group called "Module 56" that you needed to be in to read Module 56 you could probably do something with that. MemberPro can do similar with its own group system but my view is the ACL in Joomla is the better solution as it doesn't then matter what component they are accessing you should be able to lock it down.

Children --> Do the children need their own login? If so you need to look at Group Membership.

I've not done much with custom registrations but you can use them as well as Memb Pro fields and then create some syncronisation from what I've read.
