question about edocman and pdf indexer

I thinking of purchasing these add ons, but was wanting to make sure they mesh with what I'm doing.
I have a intranet built for my business and was wanting to add a document management feature.
Right now we have a scanner software to create ocr documents from pdfs.
I was wanting to use docman to make folders for various subjects and restrict access and allow employees to upload to and download from the site.
The last thing is being able to search these documents by data in the pdfs whether it be a repair order, customer name or other things.

1. Edocman has permission to allow users to upload documents into varius directories based on their permission.
2. Edocman has PDF Indexer plugin, it allows us to read and store content of PDF files. Then, the content of PDF files can be searched through Search function of Edocman or Joomla system.

PDF Indexer plugin is included in Edocman extension. So that, you only need to purchase Edocman extension with cost $ 24.99 only.
