Restrict access to any pages (urls) was created by Scott
Can this be applied at a parent directory level (e.g. "
mysite.com/members/
")?
I have a folder with a large number of PDF files in it that I want only members to see.

Hi Scott
It is not possible. Membership Pro can only restrict access to pages generated by Joomla, not a static page like that (link to a PDF document, link to a video....).
If you want to protect access to these files, you need to find a downloads manager extension to use (like EDocman) and use Membership Pro together with that extension to restrict access to these PDF documents

Ok, thank you for the clarification, I do understand the restrictions you are working with.
I have purchased EDocman, but found that it didn't have the level of control I need to format the output. I am looking to place the documents into a grid based on the attributes of the documents (could be based on categories or whatever), but I didn't have enough control over how many items were in the table, etc.
