Recurring payments and payment confirmations

Hi,
I'd like to confirm two things with the recurring payments capability of Membership Pro. I have examined the documentation but am ot able to get the information I require. For the following questions assume that PayPal is the payment method.

1) For the payment period set up for recurring payments, can a calendar month be configured rather than 30 days.

2) Once set up and the recurring payments are running, is a trigger available on each payment via the PayPal plugin to run some maintenance action.

1=> Yes. You can simply set the subscription length of the plan to 1 month.

2=> Yes. The system trigger onMembershipActive event. So you can write a plugin process than event to run any "maintenance actions" you want

Just to check does OnMembershipActive fire with each recurring monthly payment?

Also would the same functionality be available with the Worldpay plugin ?

=> Yes, correct

Also would the same functionality be available with the Worldpay plugin ?

=> Unfortunately, Worldpay payment plugin doesn't support recurring payment. It only supports onetime payment/subscription
