email subcribe to eventcategories

Hello,

im interested in your events extension for a customers project.
What i need is the oppertunity to subcribe to events categories (like a newsletter) to get automatic emails when new events are published in a certain category. Is that possible with eventbooking?

Or is it easy to make this possible by using your Support after Purchasing?
Maybe even with 3rd party extension like Acymailing?

I think this feature should not be handled in Events Booking. You should use a third party extension like Acymailing for this task

Basically, I think you can create newsletter lists in ACYMailing (each list is a event category) so that users can subscribe for the lists they want

Then when an event is created, you can use ACYMailing to notify the subscribers

That should work OK
