One Event - different group of participants

Hi there,
so far I have not used the component because I am not sure if the feature is built in or needs to be developed on top.

Here my question:
I am offering an event for let's say 10 persons which lasts 6 hours but I also want to make it possible to book only half day 3 hours.
Is it possible to show the availability with these different types of participants.
So if only half day is booked there is no place for 10 persons rather 9 1/2 or something like that.

Looking at the requirement, I think Events Booking could not handle this requirement. So maybe you will need to customize it or find a different extension to use
