Membership Pro - Individual and Family Membership was created by Steve Barratt
Seriously looking at using this component as I am totally happy with Event Bookings. The question I have relates to individual and Family membership. In EB with family/group bookings you can select how many members make up the group/family is this the same in membership pro as this will be a critical part of the process for the use I have.

Yes, on a plan by plan basis you specify the maximum number of additional group members that can be added by the person owning the subscription.

That's correct. Thanks Alan
However, please note that number of group members at the moment is defined by admin for each subscription plan.
At the moment, subscribers cannot select/enter number of group members he want to subscribe for. That limitation should be addressed in the future, but I am still unsure about the time at the moment yet

Tuan, I really need to have the family/group put in the number of family members, for most that is 8 - Mother, Father and 6 children. I love that I can do that for our family members in EB and it makes life so easy. So I guess I will have to wait till that is done for Membership pro, or maybe you tell me how much it will cost me to have it done for Membership pro and we can get it happening. I dont need to have specific areas for the members to access the web site at all as it is for yearly or 3 years of membership with our archery association. If you have the time and wish to talk further I would be totally delighted for you to contact me.

Hi Steve
If you don't wish to give members to login and access to restricted resources on your site, maybe you can simply create custom fee field to allow users to enter number of group members when they sign up for your plan and calculate subscription fee based on the entered number
Will that work ? You use Events Booking, so you should understand how custom fee field feature works. If not, try to read the documentation at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/basic-...ox-custom-field-type

I need specific information for each person in the family/group and eg: full name, DOB, gender, if they are a current member their number, so maybe I just need to generate sufficient custom fields. The pricing for family/group is a fixed price and doesnt vary (min of 3 and tbh no max). So all I need it would appear is the patience to set up the custom fields and that would be no issue

Hi Steve
If so, I think group membership feature works exactly as you want. Try to read documentation at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/group-membership and setup it
Purchase a copy of Membership Pro to try to setup and if it doesn't work, just ask us for refund
