Can eshop function as reward points site?

Hi All

I have a question, my employers are looking at having a rewards points site.

This is a site where registered customers will be allocated points when they have hit targets etc and we want to be able to have products on the site which are worth x amount of points. so the customer collects up their points to buy these objects on the site.

If eshop cant do, do you know a module that can?
