Can I use Help Desk Pro as

Hi Tuan
I have a need for a system for clubs to ask for a judge for a particular event.
Is it possible to use Help Desk to
  1. Create a form for this purpose
  2. Send a request to a pool of judges
  3. Manage this mush like Help Desk was designed for

We need to embed a request for a judge
The judges pool for this subject to get an email advising of such a request
when one judge agrees to take on the task , close the ticket

It looks to me as though Help Desk will do this , do you agree?

Hi Ric

I am not sure Helpdesk Pro can be used for this purpose. If you want to use Helpdesk Pro:

1. For each judge , you will need to create a helpdesk Pro category

2. Assign that judge as manager for the category

Then it should work. However, I don't think you can create every category for a judge, so please think about it carefully before making decision

I see what you are saying
Can we have more than one person as manager for each category.
I think we would have say 4 or 5 categories and 20 to 30 judges assigned to different categories so it would be similar to a sales team with a number of sales staff in a smaller number of departments.

For example a request would come in for judging a club competition on line , and judges prepared to judge on line would be get the inquiry
Another inquiry would be for a judge in person so only judges assigned to in person judges would get that enquiry.
