URL - more friendly

Does anyone know if it is possible to have an event URL without the categories? The URLs with a few categories/sub categories is very long.

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at SEF router settings tab, there is a config option called Insert category. You can set it to Only the last one so that only the last category (the category event is assigned to) will be inserted to the URL

I will add a new config option to allow remove the whole categories/subcategories in the next release

If I make that change all my existing URLs will be updated right? I cannot have older events changed as my clients have already posted and published materials. It would be nice to have that ability for each event.

If that's the case, I am afraid of you will have to keep that settings as how it is. Making the changes will affect all existing events

Sorry, I don't think I will do that as it will affect the performance of the extension.
