upgrade to different membership plan

Hi. I have two plans. The first is registered users and is free. The second is lifetime with is $15.

My question is if the free members want to upgrade to the paid, they receive an error message saying their email address already exists,

Is there a way the free members can upgrade to a higher plan?

Of course, they can upgrade. I don't know why you receive the error message above while upgrading membership. The reason is because when you sign up for free plan, you should have an account on the site already, correct?

If so, when you access to subscription form, you should login before continuing the subscription process and the issue should not happen.

Please go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, find the two config options below, set it to Yes. Then check it again and it should work well:

1. Registration Integration

2. Show login box on subscription page

I followed your instructions but I am still unable to upgrade to a paying member.

I have attached 3 screenshots that show the process and messages received. Any other advice would be appreciated.
