I'm interested in the Event Booking component and have a question.
Can the component be linked to a different database than the Joomla backend database? I'd like to store the component's data differently from the website itself.
That's a shame. As an alternative, how about in a sub-directory with a cloned Joomla installation? I want to keep the event data separate from the main database for security reasons.
It is not possible, too. I don't understand why keeping events booking database separate from your site database will make your site / events booking more secure
