I am looking into purchasing this extensions but have a few questions:
The site we will be using this extension on is on a windows server (not my decision) – will Event Calender work on windows server?
Is it possible to see some images of the back-end administration area (or even better test it out on a testing server or similar)?
Is it easy to get information on who has registered to what events?
Can I export events and who signed up for events to an csv file?
Can you customize the registration form and can you have different layouts, number and type of fields for different events?
Can you customize the colours scheme ie text etc?
Can users register for events without being registered (via Joomla user registration) on the site?
Thanks

Thanks so much for interested in the extension. Here are my answers to your questions :
=> If your site works well on the server, then Event Booking can work well on it .1. The site we will be using this extension on is on a windows server (not my decision) – will Event Calender work on windows server?
=> Please have a look at www.slideshare.net/joomdonation/event-booking-extension . There are screenshots of back-end there .2. Is it possible to see some images of the back-end administration area (or even better test it out on a testing server or similar)?
=> You can see list of registrants for an event easily from back-end .3. Is it easy to get information on who has registered to what events?
=> Yes. You can export all registrants from all events or registrants from one event .4. Can I export events and who signed up for events to an csv file?
=> You can assign the custom fields to registration form. The fields can be assigned to all events or individual event .5. Can you customize the registration form and can you have different layouts, number and type of fields for different events?
=> Yes. Infact, Event Booking doesn't require users to have an account to register for an event .6. Can users register for events without being registered (via Joomla user registration) on the site?
Hope my explanation is clear to you .
Thanks,
Tuan

I am planing on buying the extension for my website, as it looks really good to me. However, I have a couple of questions to ask - please help me out with them.
1. Is it possible for registered users to add events from the front-end?
2. Is it possible to customize the front page of the Events page having an attractive image as the background or something using this extension?
Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Here are my answers to your questions :
1. Is it possible for registered users to add events from the front-end?
=> In the current version, users are not able to create events from front-end. This is a planned feature for the next version .
2. Is it possible to customize the front page of the Events page having an attractive image as the background or something using this extension?
=> Yes. It is possible. The description of events... can be entered using HTML editors in Joomla, so you can insert images, background, changing font-size, color.... to meet your need .
Thanks,
Tuan

The answer is Yes . You need to do the two steps :
1. When you create a new category, choose Calendar layout for the category.
2. Create a menu item to link to category view. In the menu parameters, choose the category which you created(category view allows displaying all events from a specific category) .
Thanks,
Tuan
