Event booking features

Hi guys

I like the look of your system but had a couple of questions.

If I had a 3 day work conference plus a dinner on one of the nights and each day cost something different and people had the choice of whether they could attend 1, 2 or 3 days and/or the dinner - is this possible and can it be done with group bookings with some people attending different days and maybe going to the dinner.

Yes, Events Booking can be used to handle this requirement. Basically, you can :

1. Create just one event in this case.

2. Create custom fee field (checkboxes custom fee field in this case) to allow users to choose the days they want to attend the event and then charge them the corresponding fee base on the selecting during the registration. Please read the documentation at eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...ct-custom-field-type to understand how to setup fee field

3. You can create a checkbox custom fee field to allow registrants to choose whether they want to have dinner, too (or radio custom field will also works, too)

Thank you for your reply.

Will it be reflected in the invoice that gets sent out: eg

If Fred was doing a group booking for the conference and this is what had happened:

Fred booked all three days of the conference + attend the dinner - Total $350
John only wants to attend 2 days - $200
Mary wants to attend 1 day and the dinner - $150

Will the invoice show the individual bookings and who has been booked for what?

By default, the invoice layout doesn't contain that value. However, invoice layout is configurable, so you can easily change the invoice layout to include the information

Basically, if the custom field is eb_registration_option, then you can use the tag [EB_REGISTRATION_OPTION] to include this information in the invoice. It is easy
