Hello
My webpage uses the Joomla Finder for searching. Can OS PDF indexer also use the finder search or can it just use the traditional search?

Hi Roger,
Unfortunately, PDF Indexer doesn't have Find search (smart search) plugin. It only has Joomla search plugin.

I am not familiar with Finder. Is it the same as the Smart Search located under Components in Joomla?
Joomla has the two components - Search and Smart Search. Are you saying that PDF Indexer only works with Search and not Smart Search?

Hi Diane,
PDF indexer extension only work with Joomla Search tool, it can't be used with Joomla Smart Finder extension.

Thank you. Two questions:
1) Will the search return results from both Joomla content and the PDFfiles?
2) Can I specify more than one folder for the PDF indexer to search in?
