Shipping cost method was created by alessio
Hello I am evaluating eshop in order to buy it.
I Have my ebay shop and now I want to move it on my web site. One specific action need to remain the same: the cost related to the shipping. I need a shipping payment based on two paramater: fixed price and variable price (both related to a specific quantity of a single item). If a customer buy 5 quantity of a specific item ITEM_1 then the fixed price applies to the first Q_1 and the variable price
applies to 2nd, 3rd,4th and 5th qty, so the total shipping cost will be 1*FIXED_PRICE + 4* VARIABLE_PRICE. Can eshp handle such a situation?
Many thanks

Hello Alessio,
First of all, thank you for interesting in our EShop Shopping Cart extension. Regarding your questions:
1. EShop supports 8 built-in shipping plugins, you can check them out in the documentation at: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/plugins-and-themes/shipping-plugins
2. However, 8 above built-in shipping plugins does not work exactly as your requirement. The shipping method that you want is outstanding. If you want to have it, then I will work to make it for you. So in each product, we will have 2 parameters: FIXED_PRICE and VARIABLE_PRICE. When products are order, we will calculate total of shipping cost of products in the cart by using fomular: 1*FIXED_PRICE + 4* VARIABLE_PRICE, correct?
If so, I will give you the quote to develop that shipping plugin for you after you purchase EShop.
Sincerely, Giang

Hello Giang, many thanks for your reply.
I thing you have got it right. anyway I repeat it, to be sure:
Let's say we have a product PRUDUCT_1 which costs 30,00€.
Shipping cost related to PRUDUCT_1 is 15,00€ for one item (FIXED_PRICE) and
5,00€ (VARIABLE_PRICE) for each more PRUDUCT_1 item the customer add to the shopping cart.
So, in the case the customer buys 5 items of PRUDUCT_1, we have the following total amount:
30€ (PRUDUCT_1 price) + 35€ (shipping cost = FIXED_PRICE + 4*VARIABLE_PRICE).
I had a look to the 8 built-in shipping plugins and you're right. what I am looking for is outstanding.
I have no problem to let you work for it, but I need to have at least an idea of the quote.

Hello Alessio,
Yes, I re-read your description again and all is clear. I understood it properly. You need to purchase EShop first ($34.99), then I will develop this outstanding shipping plugin for you. My quote to develop it is $50. It is very reasonable price.
Hope to receive your order soon.
Sincerely, Giang
