Restrict access to events

Is it possible to restrict access to view and register for events based on the events category and a users joomla group?.

For example using community builder users could be in one of two groups, summer and winter I want to be able to categories my events summer and winter and only the summer events being visible and bookable by users in the summer joomla access group and I winter group have only access to winter events.

The categories and events are both support Joomla core access level. So Yes, you can restrict access to these categories and events (for event, we have view access level and registration access level) based on Joomla user groups of the user.
