Payment type based on registration entity

Hi,

We generally require all registrations prepay through PayPal and use capacity settings to control registration limits. We have educational institutions that need to register as groups but cannot use PayPal. Is there a way that we can restrict the offline payment type to those institutions? Perhaps based on a custom field?

It could not be based on custom fields. I think you can limit it using Joomla core access level. The idea is:

1. Create an account for them

2. Assign them to certain Joomla group

3. Create a new access level, only select the above Joomla group for that access level

4. Edit the payment plugin, set Access to the above access level

With that setup, that should solve the issue
