I am not able to generate thumb from orignal image

Hi,
I am using joomla latest version and i have generate thumb image from original image but it gives error like :

<pre>RuntimeException Object
(
[message:protected] => Unable to get properties for the image.
[string:Exception:private] =>
[code:protected] => 0

Any one know how it solve,Please help me.

For thumb generate code written in custom joomla module and module load by ajax call so it give error and thumb image generate successfully in folder.
