Enhanced upcoming events

My client has asked if we can do an enhanced "Upcoming events" module along the lines of Event Nova - eventsnova.com/demo/index.php?option=com...eventlist&Itemid=720

I really like the way they have it laid out - probably the best of all the events components. The 2/3 line plain upcoming modules are dull and uninspiring yet almost all components use them. If there's little room they're great, but the ability to really showcase upcoming events would be awesome as well. Perhaps a new module - Extended Upcoming Events?

The layout looks good, but I think timeline layout of Events Booking is better joomdonationdemo.com/eventbooking/ :).

So maybe you should show the timeline layout of Events Booking to your client to see what he/she says. I think I won't have that kind of Layout in Events Booking very soon (right now, I focus on Events Booking 2.0.0 development), so if your client needs that layout, I think you will have to customize one of Layout in Events Booking to have the layout he wants

Is that a separate module or the "new" layout of upcoming events? Mine doesn't look at all like your demo page. Now none of my events have text but the look and styling is also very different. All of my text is also centered.

It is not a module. It is a view in the extension, so you can create a menu item to link to Upcoming events timeline layout. Then when users access to that menu item, he will see upcoming events display in that layout
