Hi Dam
Is the Map Search module that you use in the OSP Real Homes template available as a seperate purchase, to add-on to OSP?
(I bought the OS Property Map module as I thought this included the map search)

A naive question perhaps, but.........
For each property for sale, will each record have to possess latitude and longitude information to pass on to the map function so that the function will know where to place the marker? If not, how is marker placement achieved?

Hi Steve,
When you add/edit properties, there are 2 ways to find the place of property on the Map.
1. You can drag and drop the maker to the place of property
2. OS Property will find position of property through the entered address, postcode, state, city and country data.
And then, the coordinates (lattitude and longtitude addresses) of property will be generated.
Based on these values, OS Property will show makers (properties) on the Map in Listing pages, Property details page and specially, we use lat and long addresses for Map search functionality.
Sincerely,
Dam
