Help with checking out!! time sensitve

Hi, I'm putting the the pre-defined field an amount $35.00, however, it's just showing up as $0.00 in checkout. Also,when I click submit it doesn't go to paypal, it goes to a blank white error page. I have to launch the site today so it's very important.
