Charge Tax Based on U.S. State (shipping address)

Hello again - I have setup an "in-state" tax category for Kansas. So I want this tax only to be added/charged if the customer (shipping address) is within the state of Kansas. However, this tax is charged to anybody in the U.S. What is worse, is the prices reflect the tax on the products page even before you go to add to cart or checkout. Is there a solution? Hello Brian,

To have that, you should assign tax rate to Kansas Geo Zone. Then in the tax class, you should choose Tax Base on Shipping Address.

Ok, this worked great! I have did exactly what you explained, but I had to play with the configuration (Tax section) to ensure the products didn't show the tax on the products if customers were just browsing.
