I'm new at os solution and membership pro. So I have a few questions:
If a user subscribe to a plan and pay it via paypal or offline payment - how works the activation? Do I have to activate every user accounts manually or will the paypal paid account activated automatically?
I plan to use membership pro for using with mosets tree and the access restriction for some special joomla categories (restrict part of articles). The mosets tree entries I have to active manually. But what about the membership pro plans?
Best regards,
Tom

By default, Membership Pro / Joomla will send an activation email to users and they have to click on the account to get the link activated. However, if you want, you can config Membership Pro so that no activation link is sent and Membership Pro will activate his account automatically right after he makes payment.
You can even config the extension so that it will only create the account (and approve it) after he makes payment (in case he uses Paypal) or after you approve the subscription (in case he uses offline payment method)
Hope the answer is clear to you. I think it will work well for your need

thanks for your really fast answer.

This means the email activation via double-opt-in for the (joomla) user account or the subscription plan?Tuan Pham Ngoc wrote: By default, Membership Pro / Joomla will send an activation email to users and they have to click on the account to get the link activated. In case of paying with paypal, I wish to set up msp* to activate the subscription automatically. In case of paying with offline payment (for example), I have to activate the subscription manually.Tuan Pham Ngoc wrote: You can even config the extension so that it will only create the account (and approve it) after he makes payment (in case he uses Paypal) or after you approve the subscription (in case he uses offline payment method)
But... let me clear this up. There are two elements - the (joomla) user account and the subscription, which offers access to restricted areas.
The (joomla) user account activation MUST BE works with double-opt-in via email link activation - in every case. This is a task for every user. Not for me! But the activation of the subscription should work like I described above.
I hope, I could describe it clear.

Best regards,
Tom

Ah, Yes. Then:
1. The Joomla account must be activated manually by user by clicking on activation link. that's default behavior and you won't have to config any things
2. The subscription: Of course if user pays, he will be activated automatically. If he uses offline payment, you must approve the subscription (change status from Pending to Active) to get it approved.
