USing Coupons

Hi
I would like to offer a limited number of free Event invitations as well as registrations that require payment of $30. The free invitations would require the recipient to enter a coupon number to activate the registration. If this is possible how would I set this up?

I would appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide

I think you will have to create coupon codes and send the coupon to the people you want to have free registration. Will that work ? Or you want it works in different way ?

I have already added a coupon code but I still would like them to register as well so I know who will be attending as there are restrictions to how many people can fit in the venue. I guess what I need is a separate registration box on the event registration page to enter the coupon code and their details to show they have a coupon and can present it to gain free admission.

I still don't really understand what you are trying, sorry. Basically, with the way Events Booking works at the moment, when you have coupon code, when you go to registration form to register for the event, you can enter the coupon code you have to receive discount (the system will show how much discount you get - how much is the remaining amount...)

That's how it works. If you want something different, then I am afraid of it is not supported
