Group/Individual Bookings

I'm setting up a website for a ticketed trivia event and don't want to force customers to purchase all the tickets for their table in one go but instead have each person buy their own ticket which is attached to a table. Can I do this with Events Booking component?

Sorry but I don't really understand your question. Events Booking has Individual registration option, so if someone wants to register, they just browse for the events, select the event they want and register it himself.

The idea is that there will be tables booked of varying numbers of people at each table. Let's say for the sake of simplicity, each table has six people on it.

What I'd like is instead of someone buying a table of six and paying for six people. Someone can start a new table, buy their own ticket and then 5 other people buy their own ticket but tag their ticket as belonging to that table that was started by the first person.
