Add category images in a page

The only module for to have a list of categories shows only a text list.
It would be useful to have a list with images like in the front-end page ( joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/eshop-components.html )

Is there any way for to add this category list with images in a desired page?
In alternative it would be possible to have a module for this in next relase?

I am sorry but currently we don't have the categories like this. I will consider to develop a new layout with images + text for categories module in the future.
