I am using the latest version of eventbooking and have set up everything nicely - registration works, and when full people go on the waiting list.
Payment is done through paypal, I can make payments and get redirected to the thank you page. I also receive emails about the payment.
But neither participants nor administrator get emails with booking confirmation.
Registrants that go on the waiting list receive emails, and also the administrator. Mass emails to participants of the event receive emails when I send them manually.
Are there any cronjobs necessary to run to get these emails out, or what is the secret ?

What's the status of the registration record ? Do you see it from backend of your site after you made payment at Paypal?

HI Tuan,
I am having a similar problem with registration records & confirmation emails when payment goes through paypal. I did not have this problem at the end of last year BUT now I am.
If I set payment to "offline", registration is recorded & I see it from the back end plus a "confirmation email" is sent to the participant & administrator.
If I set payment to "paypal" registration IS NOT recorded (I cant see it from the back end) & no "confirmation email" is sent to the participant & administrator.
The only confirmation email received is from paypal when payment has been made.

Hi Linda
That might be something with Paypal IPN of your Paypal account. Maybe it is disabled in your account for some reasons, so you will need to re-enable it.
To give me more information to troubleshot this issue, please:
1. Try to make a new registration, make payment for it
2. Login to the Paypal account which receives payment, access to History -> IPN History to see whether there are any IPN messages? If there are, what are the status of the message?
Please check it and get back to me so that I can check it further
