Hi
The extension does work with AcyMailing. When a new users register for an event, they will be subscribed to AcyMailing so that you can send newsletters to them later .
The extension does that via a plugin called AcyMailing comes in download package .
Thanks ,
Tuan

I installed the plugin and enabled it - how do I know if it is working or not? is there supposed to be an opt-in check-box or anything? Don't see anything.

Hello Sohopros,
The plugin delivers no check-box in the registration form. If you use the plugin they are automatically subscribed to the malinglist that is set up in the plugin. They don't see anything about this in the registration form. So customers can't choose if the want to subscribe or not. This was one of my remark testing EB. See : www.joomdonation.com/index.php?option=co...iew&catid=61&id=6732
For me this is an important issue because in our country it is forbidden by law to subscribe customers by default without them knowing it an being able to make a choice.
Till now this is not solved in the EB plugin.
Kind regards,
Marcle

You should see "Events Booking - ACYMailing newsletter Plugin" in your plug-in manager after installing the EB package.

Oh, sorry. I thought this was a thread about OS Service Booking.
Just did a Google search and followed blindly.

Hi Dogan
The plugin works with both Joomla 2.5 and 3.x. You can submit a support ticket so that I can check your settings and make sure it works for you.
Regards,
Tuan
