HOW DOES THIS WORK - NEED SOME CLARIFICATION - Does this integrate with core Joomla registration or something???

=> Yes. it is integrated with Joomla core Registration. Basically, when you register for an event for example, the system will allow you to login (if you have an existing Joomla account) or enter username and password to register for an account (if you don't have one). So basically, all the three components can use same login (infact, they just use Joomla account for login process...)

Can we use the JD Payway plugin for all three components? That is very important for us as that is what the clients bank uses

=> Unfortunately, it seems Payway changes their API and at the moment, the Payway payment plugin doesn't work anymore, so you could not use it

We might have to look at PayPal Pro now - that looks like it works with all three components.
