Ending membership plan AND Registered status

My question: When a person registers for a membership, I have a group I created (The Gateway To Sedona Artist Competition) that they are assigned to. But they automatically become part of the Registered group when they sign up, right?

So, when I want the membership to end, do I also select Registered in addition to the first group I assigned them to? That means, do I select BOTH my new group and Registered? I just want to make sure I'm doing it right. I want them to be no longer registered if they do not renew their membership before the membership period ends.

Hi Vicky

You should only select new group. When subscriber's membership expired, they should still be a registered users so that they can login and renew their membership. If you remove him from the registered group (and block his account), he won't be able to login and renew his subscription.

Could you please let me know the reason you want he is being removed from Registered group so that I can guide you with a solution ?
