-is it possible to create a single event and tie it to different categories? i.e (i create an event for music festival, then create 3 different categories (rock, classic, hip-hop) and then have the event appear in 3 different menus pages displaying 1 of the categories)
-is it possible to receive registrar information per category or does it all pool together in the back end? and also is it possible to reply to the registrars in a single category as a batch email (email every registrar in the category)
-is it possible to edit the confirmation email that the registrar receives?
-is it possible to limit the number of tickets for the event per category or only for the entire event?

Thanks for interested in our extension. Here are the answers for your questions :

=> Yes, you can. In Events Booking, one event can be assigned to multiple categories
is it possible to receive registrar information per category or does it all pool together in the back end? and also is it possible to reply to the registrars in a single category as a batch email (email every registrar in the category)
=> All registrants are displayed in Back-end of Events Booking. You however, can only filter registrants by Event, not by Category. For sending email to registrant, you can use mass mail feature. However, it can only send emails to all registrants for an event, not all registrants of a category.
is it possible to edit the confirmation email that the registrar receives?
=> Yes, you can. Simply click on registrant, edit the information and save it.
is it possible to limit the number of tickets for the event per category or only for the entire event
=> You can only limit registrants by Event, not by category.
