Suppress #registrants column on front end list

Since we are only allowing individual registrations for all of our events, our management has decided that the #registrants column on the Registrants List (Registrations Management) front end web page should be removed.

What file or where is that being created / filled and how can I prevent it from appearing? Using version 1.6.6

I found it - I'm still getting the hang of how a Joomla component works

I commented it out the table heading and table data lines in the \views\registrants\tmpl\default.php file and saved it as a template override.
