Show "Member disc." and "Early Bird discount"

Hi,

I set up a Member discount and an early bird discount for an event. When checking out, discounts are applied, so that works.

However, in the initial event view, none of the discounts is mentioned.

Is there a way to mention those discounts in the facts table shown on the right, including the deadline for the early bird discount? I'd like this since it would promote the idea to a) become a member and b) order tickets soon.

Hi Gert

The extension doesn't display separate discounts. However, you can config the extension to display the discounted price. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at Themes tab, find the config option Show Discounted Price, set it to Yes.

After that, you will see the discounted price on the event page. Please try it and you will see what I meant !

thank you very much for your answer.
This is clearly better than before, it shows now the real price that will be charged when registering for the event.
But I'd like to go one step further, maybe we could add this to a "wishlist"?
Let's say "early bird" deadline is today. If somebody checks the event, they will see the current discounted price, but there is no information that the early bird discount ends today. So when they come back tomorrow, they will just see a higher price, without really knowing why.

Similar, I'd like to show also the "Member" price to the public. This would be a message like "Hey, it's worth to become a member, because then you get all these amazing events at an even better price".

I'm aware that we can add this information manually to the event manually, or add a note on top of the site advertising that members always get a 10 % discount. But I think it would be a more elegant solution if this could be part of the events' standard presentation.

Anyway, the fact that the correct (discounted) price is shown right from the beginning is a big help already.
