Truncate title (EB_Category) in next events module

Hi

Little problem which I should be able to figure out myself ...but obviously I can't :huh:

Anyways, I am trying to truncate the title in my 'next events' module. Can somebody kindly help me out with a little script? Or did I even overlook an option for that in configuration?

In case there needs to be a script I would also appreciate the path for the override of the module.
