Does membership pro using Joomla user management ?

Hi All,

We are about to using the membership pro on our Joomla 3.2 website.

But I want to ask some questions before we doing that:
1. Does is has its own user management or extend the Joomla one?
2. Does the Joomla registration page or login page work for membership pro extension ?
3. Can we add some custom fields into the member's profile. (eg: address, title, telephone, etc...)

1=> When users subscribe for a plan in Membership Pro, the system will create a Joomla account for him (you can see it by going to Users -> Users Manage). However, membership pro also has it own page to manage subscribers (which you can see other information defined by custom fields in Membership Pro which is not included in Joomla core).

2=> Login page in Joomla works for Membership Pro. Infact, Membership Pro doesn't have a Login module. It uses Joomla Login. However, when users try to access to Joomla to register for an account, Membership Pro has a plugin which redirect users to Membership Pro sign up page so that all registrations are handled by Membership Pro.

3=> Yes. You can add any number of custom fields you want.

1. do you have any demo website we can look at it for more detail.(the link to the demo page is not working)

2. dose this membership pro extension support DPS and the link to the paymentexpress website ( www.paymentexpress.com/?lang=en-NZ )

1=> Unfortunately, we don't have a demo site ready for the extension.

2=> DPS payment plugin is available. However, it doesn't come with the extension by default, so you will need to purchase both Membership Pro and the DPS payment plugin
