1)Is the donor allowed to select whether they wish to receive the newsletter, or are they automatically added?
=>Yes, donors can choose to subscribe or not. You need to create a custom field in Joom Donation, named jd_subscribe, type checkbox to allow users to choose to subscribe or not .
1)Is there any 3rd party extensions necessary for a donor to see their donation history in their profile? or is this bundled with Joom Donation?
=> The extension come with a CB Donation History plugin, so you will have to install CB (Community Builder) to display donation history of an user .
